Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Plate 4, The Exhibition in New York by Henry Hudson for GBP 26,460.00 (€ 30,786.58). This price was achieved in the auction This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Henry Hudson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in July 2020 by the work 19:34:35 - 19:34:36 at GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,771.19).
