Auction result misses estimated price range
In July last year a collector was able to acquire the work Horizon Line - Somewhere Over Southern Beijing by Henry Hudson for HKD 119,700.00 (€ 14,936.10). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 240,000.00 – 450,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Hudson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 19:34:35 - 19:34:36, which sold at auction in July 2020 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 55,771.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Horizon Line - Somewhere Over Southern Beijing von Henry Hudson für HKD 119.700,00 (€ 14.936,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 240.000,00 – 450.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry Hudson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 19:34:35 - 19:34:36 beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für GBP 50.000,00 (€ 55.771,19) versteigert wurde.
