Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Changing pastures by Henry Charles Fox for GBP 293.75 (€ 425.53). This price was achieved in the auction British Art on Paper including the Collection and Studio of at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Henry Charles Fox have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A shepherd driving sheep down a country lane with the harvesters beyond in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,828.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
