The result of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,553.16) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri Mège - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Spring Morning In A Countryside Near Hue, which sold at auction in October 2018 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,482.70).
