Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Devant le miroir à l’Ile-d’Yeu by Henri Lebasque was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in May this year. The price achieved of USD 88,200.00 (€ 82,785.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri Lebasque have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,022,500.00 (€ 711,254.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Devant le miroir à l’Ile-d’Yeu von Henri Lebasque wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 82.785,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Lebasque auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.022.500,00 (€ 711.254,87).
