Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Henri Goetz was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,002.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Henri Goetz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2015 the work Sans Titre was auctioned for EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Henri Goetz kam im Februar 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.002,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Henri Goetz konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2015 die Arbeit Sans Titre für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert.
