Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Past/Forward - Part II, which included the work Sans Titre by Henri Goetz. The price achieved of EUR 1,260.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Goetz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Past/Forward - Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre von Henri Goetz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.260,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Goetz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
