Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 318,750.00 (€ 289,273.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Fantin-Latour achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bouquet de fleurs in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 3,526,000.00 (€ 4,055,670.58).
