Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Riders In A Landscape by Hendrick Verschuring. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,049.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hendrick Verschuring - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Amorous Couple In A Stable With A Grey, A Bay Horse And Dogs, which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 30,500.00 (€ 41,444.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Riders In A Landscape von Hendrick Verschuring zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.049,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Hendrick Verschuring mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Amorous Couple In A Stable With A Grey, A Bay Horse And Dogs beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 30.500,00 (€ 41.444,33) versteigert wurde.
