Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings, which included the work A Military Encampment With A Man Playing A Bugle On Horseback by Hendrick Verschuring. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,733.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hendrick Verschuring have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Amorous Couple In A Stable With A Grey, A Bay Horse And Dogs in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 30,500.00 (€ 41,444.33).

Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Military Encampment With A Man Playing A Bugle On Horseback von Hendrick Verschuring zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.733,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hendrick Verschuring auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Amorous Couple In A Stable With A Grey, A Bay Horse And Dogs im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.500,00 (€ 41.444,33).
