Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work A hunting party resting outside a mausoleum, a city beyond by Hendrick Verschuring. The price achieved of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,685.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hendrick Verschuring - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Amorous Couple In A Stable With A Grey, A Bay Horse And Dogs, which sold at auction in December 2007 for GBP 30,500.00 (€ 41,444.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A hunting party resting outside a mausoleum, a city beyond von Hendrick Verschuring zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.685,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hendrick Verschuring mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Amorous Couple In A Stable With A Grey, A Bay Horse And Dogs beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für GBP 30.500,00 (€ 41.444,33) versteigert wurde.
