Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,940.70). Admittedly, works by Hendrick Verschuring have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Amorous Couple In A Stable With A Grey, A Bay Horse And Dogs in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 30,500.00 (€ 41,444.33).
