Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Horse Market With Arabian Merchants In The Campo Vaccino, Rome by Hendrick Verschuring was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,940.70). Admittedly, works by Hendrick Verschuring have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Amorous Couple In A Stable With A Grey, A Bay Horse And Dogs in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 30,500.00 (€ 41,444.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Horse Market With Arabian Merchants In The Campo Vaccino, Rome von Hendrick Verschuring wurde im Juli 2008 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.940,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hendrick Verschuring auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit An Amorous Couple In A Stable With A Grey, A Bay Horse And Dogs im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.500,00 (€ 41.444,33).
