Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Works (From Metamorphosis Through Light) by Helmar Lerski was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,521.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Helmar Lerski have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Five works from Metamorphosis Through Light, Tel Aviv, 1936 in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,870.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Works (From Metamorphosis Through Light) von Helmar Lerski kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 11.521,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helmar Lerski auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Five works from Metamorphosis Through Light, Tel Aviv, 1936 im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.870,82).
