Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Hellen van Meene for GBP 313.00 (€ 355.30). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hellen van Meene achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,453.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hellen van Meene für GBP 313,00 (€ 355,30) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hellen van Meene erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Images im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.453,60).
