A top price for Hellen van Meene - as previously expected
The work Selected Images by Hellen van Meene was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2021. The price achieved of USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,453.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Selected Images is the most expensive artwork by Hellen van Meene that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Selected Images von Hellen van Meene kam im Oktober 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.453,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Selected Images das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hellen van Meene, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
