In October 2008 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Work- 25 by Helena Almeida. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,684.28), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Helena Almeida - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ponto de Fuga (Vanishing Point), which sold at auction in November 2017 for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 85,136.16).

Im Oktober 2008 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Work- 25 von Helena Almeida zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.684,28) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Helena Almeida mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ponto de Fuga (Vanishing Point) beobachtet, die im November 2017 für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 85.136,16) versteigert wurde.
