This artwork by Helen Lundeberg achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April 2021. In the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction, the work Rain and Sun, 1950 sold for USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,418.95) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Helen Lundeberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tree in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 185,000.00 (€ 134,262.28).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Helen Lundeberg erzielte im April 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Rain and Sun, 1950 für USD 8.925,00 (€ 7.418,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Helen Lundeberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tree im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 134.262,28).
