In the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction, the work Precipice or Landscape, 1961 sold for USD 18,825.00 (€ 16,761.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Helen Lundeberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Tree in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 185,000.00 (€ 134,262.28).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Helen Lundeberg erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Precipice or Landscape, 1961 für USD 18.825,00 (€ 16.761,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helen Lundeberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Tree im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 134.262,28).
