This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Helen Lundeberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Tree in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 185,000.00 (€ 134,262.28).

Die Arbeit Naiad #2 von Helen Lundeberg war einem Käufer im Juni 2007 USD 19.200,00 (€ 14.201,18) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helen Lundeberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Tree im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 134.262,28).
