Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Us (without you) II by Heidi Hahn was auctioned at Phillips in London in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 12,065.00 (€ 13,853.97). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Heidi Hahn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Folded Venus / Pomaded Sweater #3, which sold at auction in November this year for USD 30,480.00 (€ 27,942.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Us (without you) II von Heidi Hahn im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 12.065,00 (€ 13.853,97) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Heidi Hahn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Folded Venus / Pomaded Sweater #3 beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für USD 30.480,00 (€ 27.942,79) versteigert wurde.
