Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by He Xiangyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sorry sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,342.96) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by He Xiangyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sorry in April this year with an auction result of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 147,052.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von He Xiangyu erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sorry für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.342,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Xiangyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sorry im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 147.052,17).
