A top price for He Xiangyu - as previously expected
The work Sorry by He Xiangyu was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in April this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 120,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 147,052.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sorry is the most expensive artwork by He Xiangyu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Sorry von He Xiangyu kam im April diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 147.052,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sorry das teuerste Kunstwerk von He Xiangyu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
