Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Study Of Lemons by He Xiangyu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 26,980.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by He Xiangyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sorry in April this year with an auction result of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 147,052.17).
