Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by He Xiangyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Cola Project - Extraction (3 Works) sold for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 71,143.20) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Xiangyu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sorry, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 144,000.00 (€ 147,052.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von He Xiangyu erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Cola Project - Extraction (3 Works) für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 71.143,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von He Xiangyu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sorry beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 144.000,00 (€ 147.052,17) versteigert wurde.
