Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Toys On The Bed by He Sen. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,777.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by He Sen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cigarettes And Alcohol in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,687,500.00 (€ 139,071.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Toys On The Bed von He Sen zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 17.777,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Sen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cigarettes And Alcohol im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.687.500,00 (€ 139.071,33).
