Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Girl Smoking by He Sen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 17,315.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by He Sen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cigarettes And Alcohol in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,687,500.00 (€ 139,071.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Girl Smoking von He Sen kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 17.315,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Sen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cigarettes And Alcohol im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.687.500,00 (€ 139.071,33).
