Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calmness Woman by He Sen was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. It changed hands for a price of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 32,588.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by He Sen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cigarettes And Alcohol in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,687,500.00 (€ 139,071.33).

Die Arbeit Calmness Woman von He Sen kam im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 32.588,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Sen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cigarettes And Alcohol im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.687.500,00 (€ 139.071,33).
