Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Girl And A Couch by He Sen was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 13,035.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Sen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cigarettes And Alcohol in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 1,687,500.00 (€ 139,071.33).

Die Arbeit A Girl And A Couch von He Sen wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 13.035,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Sen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cigarettes And Alcohol im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.687.500,00 (€ 139.071,33).
