Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Tragic Scene by He Huaishou. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 15,856.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Huaishou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work River Of Illusion, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tragic Scene von He Huaishou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 15.856,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von He Huaishou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit River Of Illusion beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90) versteigert wurde.
