The work Herons in Sunset by He Huaishou was sold in the Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March last year. It achieved a price of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,076.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Huaishou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Of Illusion in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90).

Die Arbeit Herons in Sunset von He Huaishou wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.076,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Huaishou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Of Illusion im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90).
