Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Scholar in a Thatched Cottage by He Huaishou for HKD 18,900.00 (€ 2,208.46). This price was achieved in the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Paris and was even below the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Huaishou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Of Illusion in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Scholar in a Thatched Cottage von He Huaishou für HKD 18.900,00 (€ 2.208,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Huaishou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Of Illusion im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90).
