Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by He Huaishou could be acquired at Christies in Paris in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work A Village Beyond Trees changed hands for HKD 16,380.00 (€ 1,914.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Huaishou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Of Illusion in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von He Huaishou konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online wechselte die Arbeit A Village Beyond Trees für HKD 16.380,00 (€ 1.914,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Huaishou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Of Illusion im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90).
