Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Despair by He Huaishou was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 18,900.00 (€ 2,264.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Huaishou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work River Of Illusion in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Despair von He Huaishou wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 18.900,00 (€ 2.264,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Huaishou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit River Of Illusion im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90).
