Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Sunrise Over Yuen Long by He Baili. The price achieved of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 54,363.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by He Baili have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dreaming of the River Valley in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 305,772.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunrise Over Yuen Long von He Baili zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 54.363,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von He Baili auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dreaming of the River Valley im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 305.772,13).
