Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dreaming of River Valley 2 by He Baili was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 120,794.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by He Baili - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dreaming of the River Valley, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 305,772.13).

Die Arbeit Dreaming of River Valley 2 von He Baili kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 120.794,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von He Baili mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dreaming of the River Valley beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 305.772,13) versteigert wurde.
