Auction result misses estimated price range
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work Dawn by He Baili for HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,632.16). This price was achieved in the auction Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by He Baili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dreaming of the River Valley in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 305,772.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dawn von He Baili für HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.632,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von He Baili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dreaming of the River Valley im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 305.772,13).
