Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Camo On Da Roof by Hassan Hajjaj. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,908.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hassan Hajjaj - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Master Cobra Mansa, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,749.01).
