Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Artcurial held the auction Moroccan & African Spirit, which included the work Bouchra, 2000 by Hassan Hajjaj. It changed hands for a price of MAD 76,096.00 (€ 6,969.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of MAD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hassan Hajjaj have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Master Cobra Mansa in May this year with an auction result of USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,749.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Moroccan & African Spirit durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bouchra, 2000 von Hassan Hajjaj zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von MAD 76.096,00 (€ 6.969,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von MAD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hassan Hajjaj auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Master Cobra Mansa im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 30.749,01).
