A top price for Hashimoto Okiie - as previously expected
The work Unknown by Hashimoto Okiie was sold in the Japanese Art & Design auction at Christies in London in May 2011. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,858.76), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Unknown is the most expensive artwork by Hashimoto Okiie that we have observed at auctions so far.
