Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in London held the auction Japanese Art & Design, which included the work Unknown by Hashimoto Okiie. The price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,286.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hashimoto Okiie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in May 2011 for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,858.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Japanese Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Hashimoto Okiie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.286,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hashimoto Okiie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.858,76) versteigert wurde.
