Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Hashimoto Okiie was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,429.38) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Hashimoto Okiie have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Unknown was auctioned for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,858.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Hashimoto Okiie kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.429,38) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Hashimoto Okiie konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Unknown für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.858,76) versteigert.
