Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fanta by Harry Thubron was sold in the Outside In: The Dr. Jeffrey Sherwin Collection auction at Christies in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,467.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Harry Thubron have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barrel Staves On Door in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,802.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fanta von Harry Thubron wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Outside In: The Dr. Jeffrey Sherwin Collection bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.467,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harry Thubron auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barrel Staves On Door im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.802,52).
