Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Domed Plaster by Harry Thubron was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,691.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harry Thubron - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Barrel Staves On Door, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,802.52).

Für andere Arbeiten von Harry Thubron mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Barrel Staves On Door beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.802,52) versteigert wurde.
