Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Fallen Statue; The Wheathampstead Blacksmith; The Woodman, Leicestershire; Dock at Whitstable; and Milking by Harry Morley was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2007. The price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 620.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Morley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Covent Garden in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 13,127.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Fallen Statue; The Wheathampstead Blacksmith; The Woodman, Leicestershire; Dock at Whitstable; and Milking von Harry Morley kam im August 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
