Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Dawn by Harry Morley. The price achieved of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,291.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Harry Morley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Covent Garden in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 13,127.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dawn von Harry Morley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.291,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harry Morley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Covent Garden im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 13.127,43).
