Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Parisian street scene; and a companion work by Harry Morley was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in June 2010. The auction ended at the price of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,220.41), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Morley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Covent Garden in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 13,127.43).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.220,41) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harry Morley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Covent Garden im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 13.127,43).
