Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2000 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Family at the Shrine by Harry Morley. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 235.00 (€ 372.50), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Morley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Covent Garden in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 13,127.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Family at the Shrine von Harry Morley zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 235,00 (€ 372,50) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harry Morley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Covent Garden im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 13.127,43).
