In January 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art, which included the work "Underhand," Winner Of The Northumberland Plate, With Aldcroft Up, Mr. A. Biggs, Mr. J. Fobert (Trainer) And Mr. G. Foster (Owner) by Harry Hall. The »bidding war« ended at USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,477.12), 53% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harry Hall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fisherman with jockey up attended by a groom on a race course, which sold at auction in May 2005 for GBP 42,000.00 (€ 62,005.18).

Im Januar 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Underhand," Winner Of The Northumberland Plate, With Aldcroft Up, Mr. A. Biggs, Mr. J. Fobert (Trainer) And Mr. G. Foster (Owner) von Harry Hall zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.477,12) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Harry Hall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fisherman with jockey up attended by a groom on a race course beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für GBP 42.000,00 (€ 62.005,18) versteigert wurde.
