A top price for Harry Furniss - as previously expected
In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer, which included the work Gladstone At The Despatch Box by Harry Furniss. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,707.83), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gladstone At The Despatch Box is the most expensive artwork by Harry Furniss that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gladstone At The Despatch Box von Harry Furniss zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.707,83) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
