In March 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction The Political Cartoon Collection of Jeffrey Archer, which included the work ‘An Influenzial House Of Commons’ by Harry Furniss. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,423.19). Other works by Harry Furniss have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,707.83) in March 2018 for the work Gladstone At The Despatch Box.

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.423,19) einen neuen Besitzer.
